Questions

I'm thinking about buying some sort of digital book device, but I'm not really experienced in this sort of thing.  There are so many different types out there, but I'm not sure which one I want.  Do any of you have any experience with a kindle/eReader/Kobo/anything like that?  If you do, can you tell me what you think about it in the comments?  That would be much appreciated!

*Sorry for the lack of reviews recently!  I haven't been reading too much in the last few weeks, but I just finished a couple of books, so expect some up soon!*

  1. I liked my Kindle until I got my iPad and so I just sold my Kindle to a friend. On the iPad I can read books in my Kindle account, books from iBooks, and more. It costs more, but it does more...

  2. I have the iPad but I don't use that as an eReader. I have the new Nook and am loving it! It can read any format like books from NetGalley and Galley Grab and it's small enough to carry in your purse and it's super light! I'd look into that :)

  3. I have a Kindle and I love it! I really don't know much about other e-readers, though. You can download e-ARCs from Netgalley on it, but unfortunately you can't download anything from S&S Galley Grab. It's really lightweight, convenient, and is easier to fit into my purse than a regular book. It's pretty easy to use and I quickly figured out all of its features. You can also use the "Wispernet" (the Kindle's version of the Internet) on the Kindle, but it is in black and white only (so is everything else. I'm okay with everything not being in color on it.). When you read a book on it it literally feels as if you're reading a regular, bound book.
    Hope this helped :)

  4. Thanks so much everyone! I think that a Kindle might be good for me, but it's such a hard decision!

  5. I was debating between a Kobo and Kindle but for me the Kobo won. It was more affordable and I can download books from the library--the Kindle can't which was a major con for me.
